Major Update - Prestige, Tools, Rebalancing, and more!


This is a huge content update! The first prestige layer, World Fracture, is here. The tool system is been implemented as well. Besides that, there's been a lot of balance changes and tweaks throughout the game. The visuals have been improved and a soundtrack has been added.

    • World Fracture System
      • Introducing a new prestige mechanic with World Fracture currency: Core Fragments
      • Multiple upgrades available for enhanced progression
    • Tool System
      • Purchase new tools to increase fracture, pierce, and manual hit range
      • Increased tool range also increases the range of waking up drones on click/hold click
    • Audio
      • Added the game's first soundtrack
    • Save System
      • Import and export save functionality for backup and sharing added to settings popup
  • Gameplay Changes
    • Bomb System Improvements
      • Hold X key to preview bomb placement with visual targeting
      • Bomb radius display persists temporarily after placement
      • Added explosion animations when bombs detonate
      • Improved bomb and cursor interaction
    • Rock System Enhancements
      • Added dust yield display to quarry active rock stats
      • Improved rock spawning algorithm with dynamic spacing based on field density
      • Improved spawn performance
      • Refined how rock sound effects are played
    • Drone System Improvements
      • Smarter targeting system that prioritizes rocks without other drones
      • Drones now face the correct direction when moving
      • Auto-increment drone target layer when unlocking new rock layers
      • Fixed drone hit speed and movement speed upgrade application (they were not functioning at all before, oops!)
      • Drones are now awakened by the full radius of tool impacts
    • Quarry Foreman
      • Upgrade automation (unlocked via World Fracture)
    • Tip System
      • Tips will now be shown at various points in the game - sorry if you already knew about them!
  • Balance Changes
    • Removed hardness upgrade from Clay rock layer
      • First upgrade now costs only 5
      • 25% hardness reduction per level
      • Added maximum level when hardness reaches ~5%
    • Bomb damage now has maximum level of x5 multiplier
    • Lowered starting cost for capacity upgrades
    • Additional extensive balancing pass on all upgrades
    • Upgrade system now supports dynamic max levels (eg rock layer capacity matching max quarry rocks)
  • User Interface
    • Added badges to upgrade tabs showing upgrades are available
    • Tab key now cycles through rock upgrade tabs
    • Upgrade tooltips now display current level and max level
    • Main upgrade rows show next value increase
    • Added expand buttons for right panels
    • Resource gain popups are now batched for performance and less spam when deep into the game
  • Bug Fixes
    • Corrected drone upgrade application for hit speed and movement speed
    • Resolved various minor bugs throughout the system
